Hoppy The Marvel Bunny and Spider-Ham

I think that Hoppy the Marvel Bunny is the first cartoon animal-type hero that I ever saw cross over with the "real" superheroes.  It was a two-parter in DC Comics Presents in which Superman teamed up with the entire Shazam Family, and Hoppy came in to save the day at the end.  It worked out better than I thought, and I still remember that tale fondly today.  Spider-Ham has made the leap as well recently, teaming with other versions of Spider-Man on more than one occasion.

I hope to see him work alongside Webster Weaver...the Amazing Man-Spider!*

*Let's see if Ross' memory goes back that far. ;-D

I don't think you have done a cover with Casper The Friendly Ghost. When I was a kid, Casper, Richie Rich, and the other Harvey Comics were essential comic book reading for children. It would be interesting to see Casper, Hot Stuff, Wendy, etc paired with other occult inspired characters such as Justice League Dark, Vampirella, or Dr Strange.

Ross

I wonder...Take another look at the young lady in the foreground of the crowd.

Was it intended for her to look a bit like CF when she was younger or was she already part of the crowd? I know you already did a tribute the other day, but this drawing does have a medium resemblance to some of her earlier appearance as shown the laat last day or so in TV programs where she guested when she was younger.

Cary Comic- I can't speak for Ross, but my memory goes back that far! I was actually disappointed when Spider-Ham first appeared, because I figured it dashed my hopes of Webster Weaver ever coming back back (and he was "the 'Mazing Man-Spider", technically, not "Amazing").

@Mr. High: Or, even better, Zatanna pulling Thunderbunny out of her top hat!

I remember that. Mr. Mxyzptlk voluntarily sent himself back to the 5th dimension to avoid Mr. Mind killing Superman and Captain Marvel. Then Marvel Bunny, without knowing how, was able to save the day. I also liked the story.

@Alaric: Not to be confused with 'Mazing Man!

Spider-Ham and Porky Pig vs. Egg-Fu (Wonder Woman foe) and Egghead (either from Batman "66 and/or Antman's old foe).

With the Disney buyout of Fox, Spider-Ham and Spider-Pig can exist in the same continuity.
