Aquaman and The Sea-Monkeys

Here's another cover that came from a suggestion by Back Issue's Editor-In-Chief, Michael Eury.  This was a pairing that I never had considered, but once I heard it, I had to give it a shot!  I remember my older sister Diahne  actually getting some Sea-Monkeys when I was a kid.  Let me tell you, those brine shrimp were nowhere near as interesting as their ads implied!

Ha!
I think DC's 'Mazing Man made a reference to the Sea Monkeys, too. 'Mazing Man ordered them and set them up in the tub in one issue.

Awesome!

Ha! indeed. I am reminded of Cartman and his Sea-People.

For my first ever comment to this awesome blog...which has helped give my phone many backgrounds... I had to pick something really noteworthy. Teaming the King of the Seven Seas with an iconic comic "pet" offer... Classic. Great job!

Thanks, I appreciate it!

I love it!!! Reminds me of the time Mysterio made Spidey think he was being held captive in some little boy's bug jar.

This actually seems a lot like the stories I remember from those DC Giant Size issues!

I assume in part two of the story, the Sub-Mariner comes in, to rescue Aquaman...

Artie, if there was ever a time in your superhero career to start screaming in horror, this would probably be it.

Loved that South Park episode.

Love this cover, very silver age.

WOW! That is one of the most brilliant covers you've ever done. You are simply amazing. The one thing that could have made it better is if we could have seen a giant kid's face looking through the glass behind them.

Ha, you're right, that would have been a funny addition. Thanks for the kind words.
